Im fairly new to simracing so at the moment i dont use clutch at all, but i reckon in the future i might want to use it once i get the basic handling of the car figured out. Ideally, if i could push that slider to 10-20 percent more that would be perfect, but i havent really found anyway to do that.Īlternately, I figured I could just use the clutch pedal as the brake, but then that would mean missing out on manual clutching. The in-game settings allow me to set the maximum brake limit at 50 percent, which is better than default, but still a bit too much to my liking. Now as things stand, when i press the pedal, i can only press to about 25-30 percent comfortably, then i can get to 50-60 percent with some force, and then anything above that requires so much force that im worried ill break something. I then tried ACC and my results were confirmed, I could press the brake to the required levels. I noticed right off the bat that I was feeling more comfortable with the controls. Now this game doesnt support VR so far, so I had to demo Project Cars 2. As a result, I can push the pedals harder without any slipping. On the carpet surface, the pedal device absolutely doesn't lose grip. As such, I had to take real care not to push too hard on the pedals. When i press the pedals too hard, the whole device slips forward. When i put the pedal device on it, it doesnt really grip the floor. That room happened to have a carpet (I'll explain later why this detail is so important). I had to demo VR to a friend and as such had to move my system to another room. So an interesting development happened today. If they allow us to make adjustments over that point this issue would be resolved. However, this game does not currently allow adjustments over 50 for any adjustment. ![]() Regards Yes i understand every game needs to be calibrated. Make sure you have 'allow game to adjust force settings checked/ticked' in your logitech gaming software. You shouldn't need to change any logitech settings. Now you won't have to depress the brake pedal as far to get full range. ![]() Click the right arrow on the maximum limit selection and set to about 75 or wherever you like to adjust for the rubber stopper being in the way. Hover over your brake button selection in controller options with your mouse & click advanced. You need to adjust the deadzone on the right side to about 60-75. This is the same for every game you play with this wheel (if you don't calibrate your pedals, lower brake saturation or adjust the upper brake deadzone) because the rubber stopper prevents the full 100% of brake usage. However, the brake range was the problem. The brake gamma (under advanced input settings) is 1 by default and this seems to be OK (if it is'nt, try setting it to 1). ![]() Originally posted by a-y:I have a logitec G290 with the rubber stopper (xbox version of G29).
